Our Story - How Our Company Got Started

Classy Windows has now been inherited by Ronnie McFarlane. I grew up watching and working along with my mother and grandmother. I love the opportunity to make both these women proud.

Here is our history:

Peggy's Services started in 1988 as a joint venture with her mother who owned Hazel's Custom Drapes. Peggy had her own cleaning service and while cleaning homes up to 10,000 sqft. she referred home owners to her mother for window coverings. In 2006, her mother passed away, and Peggy joined the businesses together, Peggy's services/Hazel's Custom Drapes to honor her mother. Now, my goal is to provide excellent customer service while making homes beautiful and unique!

Honoring Hazel Heard

Peggy's Services & Hazel's Custom Drapes is an established company that speaks elegance, heritage and its one of a kind. It all started with a woman who had a vision of owning her own business. Hazel Heard opened a Custom Drape service in Houston, Texas over 60 years ago!

Her drapes and upholstery grace homes all over the Houston area including River Oaks and Memorial Areas. In 2006, Hazel Heard passed away. Her daughter, Peggy Robinson of Peggy's Services pays tribute to her mother by continuing the tradition and expanding the family business.
